BBQ Kamado Grills I recommend

Kamado Style Charcoal Grills

Top of the Line choice, and Economical Choice

More to come as the summer goes on and I do more research.

Kamado Joe
Big Joe III

24-inch Charcoal Grill with Cart and Side Shelves, Blaze Red

This is expensive but has so many wonderful features that will pay off for generations.

After reading hundreds of reviews I thought about is this really worth the price. I have an expensive but not the most expensive but not the most expensive but the actual body is first class. I can't say how much I enjoy getting, owning and using the big heavy Kamado Grill that I have moved 4 times all up and down the west coast. If you love BBQ I can assure you that this will increase your love for the craft. It I suppose it would be like driving a Mercedes, The quality, and density of the heat. (notice I didn't say temperature). I suppose you have to experience it to believe it.

Smoke a Brisket

or Ribs

or Pork Butt

or Salmon

at 225 degrees

This is like an all utility vehicle. You can do steaks over direct coals, and vegetables in a different zone.

(above) Cook a Paella or any skillet dish
on top of the grill.

(right) The attachment turns your Kamado into a backyard pizza oven that will cook a pizza in minutes at 6 to 800 degrees on a pizza stone.

Kamado Joe ll

Char-Griller Akorn Kamado Charcoal Grill,

This is an 18 inch beauty,
If you have limited space this would work perfect.

This is the same as the Big Joe, only 18 inches instead of 24 inches.

Akorn Kamado BBQ

This is a triple walled steel construction, with no ceramic.
The advantage is it won't break like ceramic might, but it doesn't handle 225 degrees so well but will handle 275 degrees.
If you can't see paying for the ceramic, and your willing to go with steel, this is a highly regarded Kamado that folks have won ribbons in contests with. There is no shame in ordering this grill, and it will do a lot of different functions that a Kamado will.
