Romaine Lettuce Wraps with Shrimp in Peanut Sauce

For 4 people
Ingredients;

1 lb 21-25 count raw shrimp peeled and devained
12 Romaine heart leaves. Washed and chilled.
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon fresh chopped garlic
1 tablespoon peanut or other vegetable oil

For Garnish;
2 cups shredded Nappa cabbage
1 cup Thin sliced baby sweet bell or Jalapeno peppers
Chopped peanuts (optional)
3 sliced Green onions and cilantro
You can be creative with other toppings as well.

Peanut Sauce;
Blend these ingredients in a mixing bowl till smooth;
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon Sambal chili sauce or Sirachia sauce
Juice from one orange
1/2 cup plum sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Kikkoman Plum Sauce

3- 9 ounce jars

Directions;


1. Heat the oil to medium low in frying pan, then add the garlic and ginger and slowly turn the heat up to medium to cook the spice being careful not to burn it.

2. Add the shrimp and saute till cooked.

3. Add the peanut sauce and simmer for 1 minute to let flavors blend.

4.. On a plate put 3 romaine leaves, and spoon 2 shrimpa and some sauce on each leaf.

4. Garnish with your choice; Shredded cabbage, red pepper slices, green onion, cilantro, and chopped peanuts.

Other garnish ideas; Shredded carrot, radish, bean sprouts, basil to name a few.
