day I was thinking of what the difference was from home cooks
As I went
home to visit one summer, I watched my mom in the kitchen as
she freaked out because she didn't have a certain ingredient
and had my dad go to the store to get it. He had to do this
a number of times.
As I observed
this, one thought came to mind. What separates home cooks from
chefs is that we are like an artist. We cook to our creativity
and mood. We have the basic knowledge of all the cooking techniques,
which allows us to have more ideas at our disposal.
