Brussels Sprout Slaw

The History of Brussels Sprouts  |  Recipes

By Stephen Block Published: 2012, | Brussels Sprouts make an unique and excellent cole slaw. | Prep time:20 Yield 3 cups (2 servings ) | Serving size: 1 and 1/2 cups


3/4 lb of Brussels Sprouts
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
4 tblsp chopped onion

2 Tblsp vinegar
1 Tblsp sugar -2 if you like it sweeter

2 Tblsp Mayonnaise
2 Tblsp Sour cream
1 teasp salt
1 teasp pepper

Brussels Sprout Hash


1. Cut the sprout crosswise and you will get nice shreds and then when you get to the core you will need to dice that up a bit.

2. Make the dressing and mix with the slaw. Add the diced red bell pepper.
