When I was in Germany in the 70’s my Aunt made a fleisch salad. She diced up a variety of sausages, cheese, onion and celery. She then tossed it all with an Italian type dressing.
Over the years I have changed the onion to either green onion or a good sweet onion and have added fresh herbs i.e. chives and or parsley and when in season a good cucumber or tomato.
Served with some good hard rolls you can’t beat this for a lunch or a refreshing summer dinner.
