LUKSCHEN KUGEL

1/2 lb. cooked med. noodles, cooled
2 lg. apples, peeled & coarsely chopped
3/4 c. white raisins
5 med. eggs
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. ricotta cheese
3/4 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. milk Cinnamon-sugar (optional)

Combine all ingredients (except cinnamon-sugar) in a large bowl. Stir to distribute ingredients evenly.

Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar before baking,

if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until top is golden brown. Serve warm or chilled. (Teddy Baby‘s Mom)Cooks.com

TRADITIONAL LUKSCHEN KUGEL

1 lb. med. egg noodles 6 med. eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 c. cottage or pot cheese 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c.
sugar 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. walnuts or pecans 1 tbsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles in slightly salted water until just tender, then drain.
While noodles are cooking, beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add milk, cheese, sour cream, white sugar
and raisins. Beat together and then add noodles. Mix well. Pour into a buttered 10 x 14 inch pan.
